The room was impeccably decorated and super comfy, boasting stunning views over the river that were breathtaking, especially at sunrise. The variety in breakfast options was fantastic, featuring local produce and a thoughtful menu, ensuring you won't go hungry during your stay.
Be aware that reaching the property involves climbing steep stairs, which can be quite a workout and may not suit everyone, especially those with mobility issues. Parking can also be an issue. while it's available nearby, the spaces feel snug and might ruffle some feathers if you're protective of your ride. Plus, the TV in the room buzzed loudly out of nowhere one night, raising concerns about disturbing neighbors. Finding the place is a bit of a puzzle, with convoluted instructions that could leave you scratching your head after a long drive, particularly when lugging bags around.

Staying in a double room without a view was pleasantly surprising, with the hosts providing fresh milk daily and a delightful selection of biscuits. Breakfast showcased local produce, including exceptional full English options and fresh fruit. While the hill leading to the house may be a slight inconvenience, it’s manageable and adds to the charm of the location close to town.
